Education Resources

We understand how difficult it can be to talk with your child about sexual abuse, but as a parent you must be proactive in trying to protect your child.  You already give your child important safety messages for their physical safety.  Make personal safety another daily lesson you teach your child.

Children need to have these messages repeated to them.  Children who are confident and who feel good about themselves are less vulnerable to abuse.

If you would like more information talking to your children about child sexual abuse prevention, are interested in obtaining other information about teaching prevention, or are just concerned about a child, please call Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children.  We are always available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
